I am trying to copy feature classes from a folder into a new geodatabase, but none of the files will copy into the new geodatabase. Why are they not copying through?

Apr 30, 2014 I am attempting to generate a list of all the feature classes in a file geodatabase using the Python window in ArcCatalog. I want to list all features, by feature dataset, to deliver to the staff at my office. Is this even possible? I am running ArcInfo 10 and not well versed with Python. .Connection file necessary to access enterprise geodatabase.Control of how you connect to geodatabase.What user is connected-Creating Data-Schema changes-Administering the geodatabase.Instance/Database you connect to.Version, historical archive, or moment in time.Changing properties requires new connection files.
Your output file path is missing a delimiter.
If
fcdesc.basename = counties
, for example, the above code attempts to create ...t_6.gdbcounties
(and it'll actually make a shapefile) instead of ...t_6.gdbcounties
(a feature class within the geodatabase).Include the closing delimiter and it runs as expected:

I have a set of file geodatabases with the same schema as my SQLexpress geodatabase. Using this script, I am trying to append the feature classes of each FGDB into the corresponding feature class in the SQLexpress GDB.
When I attempt this with my python script, I get the following error:
It is the same if I try to simply use the Append tool from ArcToolbox. Is there a way to append feature classes in an SQL database?
