Isometric views in RPG Maker MV
I just started my dive into RPG Maker with little coding experience. I need some help figuring out the capabilities of the program because I'm trying to map out everything before I get started. I have an ambitious project that I want to vet, and was wondering if it's possible to create an entire game in isometric view? If so, would it be possible to make games akin to the art style of Saga Frontier 2 or even Thousand Arms, the difference being static backgrounds as opposed to a camera you can turn with buttons.

Again, I know the project is ambitious. I'm just looking to learn as much as possible right now.
I know that the engine isn't built for it. I grew into RPG's around the time games like ff7, Thousand Arms and Saga Frontier were being introduced to the western world, and feel like this style would be more in line with my artistic outlook.
That being said, I know I'll probably see the task as daunting and just stick to the classic birds-eye view the engine utilizes while I learn. I guess I wanted to know if it's viable to even consider isometric views using this engine, or is that a dream for a different decade?

INTRODUCING PLUGIN MANAGER
By adding js files in the project's plugin folder, you will be able to select the plugin in the Plugin Manager. You can see script details, script parameters and the ability to set it ON and OFF. Using Plugin Manager will be much easier to use than the old format. Allowing minimal user interference to prevent errors and easily order the scripts than the previous makers.
EVENT SEARCHER
One of the missed functions from RPG Maker 2003, The Event Search function is back! The bigger your game gets, the more Variables, Switches and Events you'll use. It quickly becomes harder to manage and find specific parameters. Using the Event Search tool will allow you to save time and quickly see all instances of a particular variable or switch!
